Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Majored in advertising and also a minor in photography from The University of Miami. Worked in Miami, Chicago, and NY in various creative positions until 2012. Began my journey into the world of sculptural ceramic in 2013 and have had the great fortune of studying under some of the best ceramists in Puerto Rico as well as stateside and participating in several art shows, solo and collectively.
Although I am always brain storming and evolving creatively, I now work with clay and cement. I also incorporate the use of wood, whether recycled, found or new, different textures mixed in and metals to create ceramic sculpture and pottery pieces.
I have a number of elements that inspire me and wake up my emotions when seeking inspiration for my work. I very much like geometric, architectonic, minimalist structures. Add to that the influence of taking in my surroundings and nature's textures to further elaborate my work.
